In Marina, a small seaside town, live Guido, a successful architect, and his wife Amelia – a couple who must endure the boredom and lack of communication in a marriage that has reached the brink of indifference. A tribute to Antonioni’s cinema, with a nod to the final scene of La Dolce Vita, as if the disillusioned yet still deeply human Marcello were returning alone to the epiphanic beach of La Dolce Vita.
