The Sign 1

A tribute to the country of birth to bring back memories of the work and rights of women workers in the straw industry. The silhouettes hark back to work clothes such as overalls, aprons and gabanelle embellished with raffia embroidery with phrases extolling women’s emancipation and mimosas. Fabrics, of natural origin, are accompanied by a color palette that recalls shades and tones of brown to creamy white, accompanied by completely handmade crocheted tip work with raffia yarn.
