But nudity, for centuries, has continued to exert a powerful attraction: paintings and sculptures show not only the body, but also ideals, tensions, contradictions and power dynamics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project, signed by <strong>Wenjie Yu, Sofiya Arpaci, Xiang Ding, Zoulong Liu<\/strong><strong>(RUFA students<\/strong>), explores what it means today to be<strong>both observed and watched<\/strong>. The director, used to being watched, brings the opposite experience to the center: the discomfort of being watched. And she makes a decisive step: she enters the frame and becomes a <strong>nude model<\/strong> herself, opening a path of confrontation with vulnerability, identity and autonomy.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The film follows two intertwined lines:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; a <strong>personal<\/strong> journey, from awkward beginnings in life drawing studios to moments of exposure, discomfort and empowerment;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; a<strong> visual reflection<\/strong> on nudity, art, shame and visibility, constructed through observational footage, poetic narration, scenic metaphors and painting sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a woman from East Asia, the author blends references from Eastern and Western art history to <strong>reimagine Eve<\/strong>, redefining the meaning of forbidden fruit, nudity and the gaze: a territory in which the body is no longer just an object, but a choice, a presence, an autonomy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project, along with all the finalist works from the <strong>&#8220;Normal is Extraordinary&#8221;<\/strong> international contest <strong>,<\/strong> will be on display at the <strong>MAXXI Corner<\/strong> from <strong>Dec. 5 to 8<\/strong> (free admission).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"author":7,"featured_media":5442,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"inline_featured_image":false},"class_list":["post-5537","progetto","type-progetto","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/grandtourafam.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/progetto\/5537","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/grandtourafam.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/progetto"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/grandtourafam.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/progetto"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/grandtourafam.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/7"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/grandtourafam.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/5442"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/grandtourafam.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=5537"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
