{"id":4460,"date":"2025-11-05T10:47:34","date_gmt":"2025-11-05T10:47:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/grandtourafam.it\/progetto\/burning-in-the-bones\/"},"modified":"2025-11-05T11:57:07","modified_gmt":"2025-11-05T11:57:07","slug":"burning-in-the-bones","status":"publish","type":"progetto","link":"https:\/\/grandtourafam.it\/en\/project\/burning-in-the-bones\/","title":{"rendered":"Burning in the Bones"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8221; Burning in the Bones,&#8221; a finalist project of the international contest<strong> &#8220;Normal is Extraordinary<\/strong>,<strong> &#8220;<\/strong> curated by <strong>Egle Guardalobene<\/strong> &#8211; a student of RUFA Rome University of Fine Arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project stems from the idea that the life experiences of each of us leave a unique and unrepeatable imprint, not only in the mind, but also in the body, which becomes a silent witness to what we go through.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is the body, in fact, that remembers when the mind tends to forget, turning every emotion into a tangible trace, perceptible &#8220;down to the bone.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To visually restore this deep memory, Egle Guardalobene uses X-ray plates of various sizes and dried flowers, carefully arranged to evoke the emotions that generated them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The slabs are displayed by means of lightboxes on a wall of size 35x30cm and 33x48cm, with the aim of recalling the real purpose of the slabs and enhancing their perception.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The work, along with the other finalist projects of the &#8220;Normal is Extraordinary&#8221; international contest, will be on display at <strong>MAXXI in Rome<\/strong> from <strong>Dec. 5-8<\/strong>, 2025.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":7,"featured_media":4433,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"inline_featured_image":false},"class_list":["post-4460","progetto","type-progetto","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/grandtourafam.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/progetto\/4460","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/grandtourafam.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/progetto"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/grandtourafam.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/progetto"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/grandtourafam.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/7"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/grandtourafam.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/4433"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/grandtourafam.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=4460"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
