It grows quickly and adapts to almost any type of terrain, which is why it has always been a valuable resource for humans. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Its light but strong wood finds use in shipbuilding and architectural construction, carpentry, and even the paper industry. It is a versatile material, combining strength, elasticity and durability. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Native to Pacific forests, the Douglas fir has found new roots over time in Italy as well, becoming a key player in reforestation programs in mountainous areas.
