The story follows a little girl who loses a tooth, and all the events that are triggered by this episode: unexpected encounters, bizarre dances, and celestial reveries.

The short film was made by Laura Ettori, a RUFA student in the three-year GD – Comics And Illustration program, using two techniques: stop motion, through the animation of cardboard cutouts, and traditional animation, with more than 300 frames hand-drawn on paper. The sound design and soundtrack were supervised by Matteo Ursini, a student at Saint Louis College of Music, who worked drawing inspiration from the music of Nino Rota. The project was supervised by Alessandro Carpentieri.

Just as in Fellini’s cinema plastic tarpaulins can become a sea, in Four and a Quarter paper gives the illusion of a whole world, in which those feelings of bewilderment, tenderness and discovery typical of a childhood memory reign. The project aims to touch on the “Fellini-esque” elements that most struck the author, but creating a story that can reach everyone, even those who do not know Fellini.

["post-6522","opera","type-opera","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry
["GET
