{"id":1584,"date":"2024-12-03T13:47:18","date_gmt":"2024-12-03T13:47:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/grandtourafam.it\/evento\/ai-human-pingpong-method-for-visual-development-in-animation\/"},"modified":"2025-07-10T10:14:37","modified_gmt":"2025-07-10T10:14:37","slug":"ai-human-pingpong-method-for-visual-development-in-animation","status":"publish","type":"evento","link":"https:\/\/grandtourafam.it\/en\/event\/ai-human-pingpong-method-for-visual-development-in-animation\/","title":{"rendered":"AI &#8211; Human pingpong method for visual development in animation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p>The workshop &#8220;AI &amp; Visual Development: Human-AI Interaction in Animation,&#8221; organized by NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, in collaboration with IED &#8211; Istituto Europeo di Design, was held on November 18 and 19, 2024 at the NABA campus in Milan, as part of the AFAM Grand Tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Leading the workshop was internationally renowned director and animator Yelysaveta Pysmak known for works such as <em>My Fat Arse and I<\/em> (2020), winner of prestigious awards, including second prize at the Cannes Film Festival&#8217;s Cin\u00e9fondation and Oscar qualification at the Animator festival. The workshop explored the interaction between human creativity and artificial intelligence through the AI-Human Ping Pong Method, an innovative approach to the visual development of scenes and characters. Participants experimented with advanced techniques such as neural transfers and Control.NET nodes, with a focus on visual exploration and inner artistic intention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The goal of the workshop was to develop a new awareness in the use of AI in the creative process, experimenting with ways of co-creation that could enhance both human and technological input. The focus was not only on technical possibilities, but also on the inner reflection that digital art can stimulate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br\/>The workshop was designed for students with basic animation skills who were able to integrate their own work materials: sketches, rough animation, photographs or artwork with AI.
