Following the official opening scheduled for April 9 in Ancona, The AFAM Roadshow – Research. Creativity. Innovation continues its journey in Italy with the second event, to be held on April 15, 2025, a national day dedicated to Made in Italy, at the Piaggio Museum in Pontedera.
This event, dedicated to the theme Visions – Design & Hi-Tech, the Ancona appointment’s declination of the project’s broader concept, Exploring Humans, explores the synergies between innovation, design and technology, focusing on the role of creativity in redefining the future of production and design.
The event was included in the calendar of celebrations of the National Day of Made in Italy, established by the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy, and is curated by CNR ISPC, RUFA – Rome University of Fine Arts and Istituto Modartech, with the collaboration of Museo Piaggio, under the patronage of the Municipality of Pontedera, and with the partnership of Artes 4.0 and Istituto di Biorobotica of Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna.
The event willopen at 9 a.m. with the Opening, opening ceremony at the Piaggio Museum Auditorium, where the themes and appointments of the entire day will be introduced, preceded by institutional greetings.
We will then move to the Modartech Institute, where the Table Talks will take place, true generative laboratories, thematic think tanks in which representatives of cultural and creative realities, professors, and experts in Digital Cultural Heritage will address specific areas and possible perspectives related to the leading theme of Pontedera.
The Genius Academies, starting in the afternoon, will offer opportunities for in-depth discussions with lectio magistralis on key topics such as the importance of designing visitor-centered museum experiences, the different forms of multimedia and interactivity, and local experiences of winning designs in creative manufacturing.
