A journey through creativity, craftsmanship and innovation: the Modartech Institute presented “LINK | Tribute to Made in Italy,” the long-awaited end-of-academic-year event held on Wednesday, June 25 and Thursday, June 26. It was a tribute to Italian design excellence and to our country’s production districts, through the ideas of young talents from the Fashion Design and Communication Design degree programs.

The title of the event was an invitation to build connections: between languages and visions, between tradition and experimentation, between territories and creativity. It was a celebration that transformed the end of the academic year into an opportunity to meet and share, recounting the path that leads an idea to become a concrete project, through a visual, experiential and tangible narrative.

The heart of the event was the Creative Exhibition, a widespread exhibition that collected and enhanced the students’ projects, from fashion collections to communication concepts. An exhibition where moodboards, graphics, installations, multimedia presentations and clothes took shape, the result of careful research into materials, tailoring techniques, sustainability and visual storytelling.

Giving voice and face to the behind-the-scenes processes is a Video Area, with the screening of the short film made in collaboration with Poliarte. A first-person account of the creative journey, including inspirations, rehearsals and results, experienced and narrated by the students themselves.

Finally, the Fashion Performance enlivened the event spaces in a marriage of fashion and music. The collections came to life accompanied by pieces composed by the students of theAccademia Teatro alla Scala, in an experience that fused tailoring, contemporary languages and artistic contaminations.

As part of the Talent Awards, there was no shortage of awards for the best projects, selected by companies and professionals from the fashion and communication sectors present at the event, underscoring the importance of this showcase also in terms of networking and visibility for young creatives.

To conclude the event, as per tradition, the Modartech Party: an evening with DJ Set in the picturesque setting of Villa Crastan, to celebrate together the end of the academic year
