After Ancona, Pontedera, Como and Milan, The AFAM Roadshow – Research. Creativity. Innovation continues in Naples its journey between higher education, visual culture and technological innovation. On July 10, in fact, it is the turn of “Connections – Multiverse and Narratives,” a day entirely dedicated to the relationship between real and digital worlds, artistic practices and immersive experimentation. The event takes place at the headquarters of IUAD – Institute of Universal Art and Design, the heart of Neapolitan creative education.

Connections is the key word of the day and refers to an expanding network between physical realities and virtual, parallel or alternative worlds that require knowledge, encounter and dialogue to be related. Connections are activated in multiverses as practices of sociality, inclusion and experimentation.

The event kicks off at 9 a.m. with the Opening, the inaugural ceremony hosted in the spaces of IUAD, in which the themes and appointments of the entire day are introduced, preceded by institutional greetings. To welcome: Michele Lettieri (IUAD President), Raffaele Fiorentino (Director Dept. of Business and Economic Studies, Parthenope University of Naples), Fabio Mongelli (Director RUFA – Rome University of Fine Arts), Costanza Miliani (Acting Director CNR ISPC).

At 11:15 a.m., after coffee breaks, Table Talks, invitation-only thematic workshops coordinated by AFAM Grand Tour partners, will begin. In the IUAD classrooms, discussions will revolve around multidisciplinary perspectives on Digital Cultural Heritage, including immersive storytelling, virtual environments and sound cultural heritage. The structure of the tables includes introduction, parallel discussion and shared return.

The Genius Academies, on the other hand, are lectio magistralis dedicated mainly to students interested in the world of Digital Cultural Heritage, but not only. They are in fact open, free admission, with reservations required at the following links:
