Without limits – Made in Italy beyond the boundaries of “dolce vita”

As part of the GTA, Academy of Luxury in Milan ADLM Ltd. presents: “La Dolce Vita Contemporanea”

A special event that interweaves creativity, education and cultural heritage, perfectly aligned with the PNRR project dedicated to the enhancement of Italy’s artistic and film heritage.

Inspired by the visual and symbolic imagery of Federico Fellini-the undisputed icon of la dolce vita and master of the dreamlike narrative of Italian identity-the event explores the transformative potential of Made in Italy in contemporary fashion.

The aim is to reflect on how Italian style can today overcome the boundaries of classical aesthetics to revive through new creative visions, capable of combining memory and innovation, elegance and provocation, dream and reality: key elements of Fellini’s poetics.

The catwalk thus becomes a performative and cultural stage, where the creations of the students of Accademia del Lusso tell of an Italy that is changing, but remains deeply anchored in the identity value of “beauty,” even and especially in an international context.

The event is carried out under PNRR GTA WP1 funding, with the aim of supporting educational, artistic and cultural activities that promote Italian excellence through creative, multidisciplinary and contemporary languages.

In this context, the appeal to Fellini’s art represents a “cultural umbrella” capable of providing inspiration and perspective to new generations.

Event structure

The event is divided into two main moments:

– Talk – in collaboration with LABA
An open discussion with an expert on the “Italian sounding” phenomenon, which will allow reflection on how Italian imagery – just like that evoked by Fellini – is often reinterpreted abroad, generating fascination and misunderstanding. An opportunity to question the authentic value of Made in Italy and the role of cultural identity in contemporary production.

– Fashion Show – in collaboration with St. Louis
On the catwalk, creations by students of the Academy of Luxury will come to life, accompanied by original musical compositions by St. Louis students. Fashion and music dialogue on stage, shaping a synaesthetic representation of the Italian dream, reinterpreted with fresh eyes.

Without Limits – Made in Italy Beyond the Borders of “DOLCE VITA” is not just an event, but an act of collective storytelling that unites generations, languages and disciplines in a single narrative: that of Italy that creates, inspires and renews.

Through the encounter between fashion, music and cultural reflection, the Milan Luxury Academy is promoting a new vision of Italian excellence, capable of enhancing the artistic heritage of the past to build the future of Made in Italy with awareness and originality.
